When all else fails, USE white
There are all kinds of jobs, businesses and services in the world... the internet helps us broaden our knowledge of what is available and services we can or may offer as a business. We never quite think about it but how do magazines, commercials we view on TV scout out locations? Such beautiful locations and backgrounds in pictures. Well.... I found a site, a site that is the inspiration for today's blog.
When all else fails use WHITE.
This site scouts out locations for stylists. I found some fantastic inspirational photos from their site.
Back to the subject of my blog. The color White....
Some people considered using white as a "cop out"....I beg to differ.
An all white room is very difficult to pull off.
It is important to make sure your whites match just like any other color combination.
There are many, many shades of white. Blue tones, grey tones, pink tones, yellow tones etc...
The wrong combination can throw off your whole room and you won't be able to put your finger on it.
You can still have fun with it.
Add a soft element here and there.
Have fun with.....
Texture....and
Add an element of surprise...it will stand out. Here they used a large faced clock.
Here they used a different shade of gray for one of the kitchen cabinets.
In the end it all works beautifully together and is very "a la mode" , serene and tranquil.
So when all else fails just go "WHITE"

Remember your words are my inspiration.
Beautiful! You're right, there's definitely something serene about all white, and I love how, when done right, you can play with different textures. It's one way to quiet down the chaos of the world!
