Book of Days
This all started when I broke my shoulder......I realized how fragile we all are. How my days are just skipping by me. After all, I am not getting any younger. As much as I loved where I was and what I was doing, I knew I needed to fulfill my creative side. Some day is not a day of the week.
My Some day was upon me.
Some day Some way, I knew I needed to do something that would enable me to do what I love. Starting with this blog. It filled a little part of it, then came the inspiration from Miss Mustard Seed, then from my readers, my followers.... then from inside of me. An opportunity came knocking and I jumped on it.
This is my Some day! Today My dream starts........
This is what I want to do for the rest of my days. hunting for this...

I want to find, hunt, sell, repair, repaint, display all things vintage and old.

I want to find items and odd objects that are vintage inspired.

I want to hand pick and seek and find all kinds of beautiful things that can be displayed in anyone's home or used for a new purpose.

I want to inspire people to be creative.
I want them to think outside the box...to imagine their spaces and not be intimidated.

to do what is in their heart.

To live with what they want and not be self-conscience about it.
That is my dream and they will inspire me.
I have recruited my brother to hop on board of this wonderful and exciting business adventure.
We are the Quebec Stockist for Annie Sloan Chalk Paint.
For a retailer near you please consult here.
We are very excited to get started and we are waiting for our first shipment.
My Brother and I will chronicle our progress as we approach our opening date, find interesting objects, cry over delays (I know I will, not so much my brother) stomp our feet at each other.....etc.
It's an exciting and stressful time and I am loving every moment.
Here is a sneak peak at our space before anything has been done.
so very blah, blah. Mmmmm I have an idea of the color I want to paint the space.
more before shots
My Real Estate agent and best friend Jennifer Smith, (clik on her name for a direct link) striking a pose.
I couldn't have done all this without her. She helped me make some pretty expensive decisions, and she knows her stuff. I dragged her to some pretty awful places around Laval and Montreal.
After loosing a few bids.
We ended up in Pointe-Claire Village. A wonderful place to be. So quaint and cute with many, many original shops. It is such a beautiful place to shop year round with lots and lots of free parking. Here is our storefront address.
Piorra Maison Inc.
274 ch Bord du lac (Lakeshoe),
Point-Claire, Qc, H9S 4K9

We are scheduled to open on October 15th, 2011
Stay tuned to our progress and we will give you a play by play, day to day outcome of our status.
My words of inspiration for the day.
A dream is our creative vision for your life in the future. You must break out of your current comfort zone and become comfortable with the unfamiliar and the unknown
