The new Blogger on the block...Help

Well, well, well...... I have soooo much to learn. I started my blog 10 days ago and I am so hooked. My creative juices are flowing and I can't wait to get started on all the projects I have ensnared in my brain.

I have come to the realization; blogging is quite the serious affair. I came across a blogging site last night and I was in AWE. I also realized there is some type of protocol that needs to be followed????? Yikes! Proper Link Party Etiquette, etc.... I have a long way to go but I am loving the journey.

My creative spirit has been slumbering for a few years...? I am now literally bursting at the seams with creative incentive.  It has been awhile.....I have withdrawal. Miss the “Fleas” in the Market. Miss the adrenaline inducing hunt. I can manage to find the diamond in the rough under any flea market table.  I love, love, vintage and antique furniture. My house is filled with the stuff. From small knick knacks to large armoires. Found these at a yard sale quite a few years back. I cherish them.

Silver and gold  hors d’oeuvres picks and spoons.

Treasure box included.

And something special for a ladies best friend...

What is next? My soaring spirit, self-determination, free expression and choice.  My choice. My someday has arrived, that is my choice today.

I have a few projects I will get started on this weekend. With this fabulous material I found over the internet. It was quite the search.

I have two wonderful French Cane chairs to upholster.

Not sure if I should paint and distress them?

Love the worm holes. Authentic.

I will keep everyone posted on my progress and my SOMEDAY day to day choices........

Believe that YOU HAVE IT , and you have it.

GOTTA LOVE IT!

  1. Such wonderful treasures, Caroline. I have a collection of odd silver and silverplate spoons, forks, knives, and serving pieces. I love to mix them up when I create tablescapes. You can see an example here: http://thebrambleberrycottage.blogspot.com/2010/01/serving-up-serenity.html
