Shabby Chic Pays des Merveilles......

Pays des Merveilles... A Shabby Chic wonderland...Her words, Mme Classy Lady as she reworks her bedroom. Time for change. This is what spring is about. Rejuvenating and renewing our spaces. Enjoy the  makeover on her master bedroom and view the 2ieme étage,  her 2nd floor of her gorgeous home.

A before photo. Very nice none-the-less, but the after photo is sensational.

The updated master suite has been given an uplifting look. Revealing the gorgeous four poster bed. Again an abundance of creamy rich whites and beiges are the theme for this shabby chic master bedroom.

Before photo.

A half canopy was created. But Mme Classy Lady felt it just didn't look complete. so she worked her magic....Until it felt right.

She added lace to the canopy, floral embellishments to dress it up. After all what is a ball gown with out the jewels to bring out the best. I like the use of the black ribbon, it keeps the eye centered and focused on what is of importance in the room.

Notice the changes in the curtain valances. An ever evolving design. Changing styles from one to the next like most would change our outerwear for the seasons. Mmmm.... I think it is very fun, refreshing and interesting. After all, we remove our curtains from season to season to wash them and keep them clean, why not change it up. Something for us all to reconsider.  This is the versatility of having one color scheme throughout the home.

A light fixture was added inside the canopy for a cozy soft glow.  With an abundance of pillows it gives the appearance of  warmth and the invitation to nap or snuggle up with a good book.

The touch of blue on the four posters is very elegant. Notice the dressing table on the far left, the mirror is contoured with  flowers for a soft feminine touch.

As you reach the top of the stairs, a lovely console skirted with soft pink greets you. The same pink is used on the doors to another room.

Surprise, surprise, a sweet little room all dressed up in pink. Now wouldn't you have loved to have a little secret pink room like this???? A perfect combination of stripes and polka dots.

There is still so much more to this home and so many changes going on for spring. Here is her ottoman she remade for the new dining room transformation.

So very sweet, the ribbons add a touch of class.

We still have to reveal the beautiful gardens surrounding this Gorgeous home. You don't want to miss it. A lot of love has gone into this home and it really speaks it.

Words to inspire for the day.

Creativity requires the courage to let go of certainties.

Your comments are my inspiration.

Thank you
Caroline
